This year Ciklum is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the 5th annual Kyiv Lions Club Kozak Night, taking place on the 27th of June, on Zhukov Island, just outside of Kyiv, from 16:00 to 00:30.

Kozak Night is a major annual fund raising event of Kyiv Lions Club (KLC), a service club belonging to Lions International, the largest international community and humanitarian service organization in the world with over 1,350,000 members in 45,000 individual clubs located in 197 countries and geographical areas.

Kozak Night is a great chance to get outdoors with friends and family and celebrate the great history and culture of Ukraine while raising money for charity and creating a positive social impact! This year's theme is Ivana Kupala, with flower garlands for the ladies, fire jumping, and other Ukrainian midsummer traditions. During the daytime the families will enjoy games, crafts, and music. In the evening the guests will be offered a star-studded line-up of entertainment, including Dakha Brakha, Ukrainian dancers, Mad Heads XL and much more.

To date Kyiv Lions Club has raised and distributed over $750,000 in charitable donations to the sick, the disabled and the less fortunate in schools, orphanages, hospitals and old peoples homes since its inception in Ukraine. In 2008 alone the club raised over $140,000 and donated it to verifiable causes. Additional funds gathered at the Kozak Night 2009 will provide further support for KLC projects in the second half of this year.
