Ruby Shift 2010

Visit Ukrainian Ruby Shift Conference, that will take place in Kiev on 21st of May, 2010!

Conference is organized by initiative group coffee’n'code and Ciklum is one of the media partners.

Rails from Rails contributor - powerful, blooming and soaring framework for web-applicaiton. Core team information and point of view. How-tos, real reasons to upgrade to Rails 3.

Rails in Clouds - hosing Rails in clouds. Production application, real economy in terms of hosting, scaling possibilities and real-time performance overview and adjustment. Using just what’s required in a certain time period.

Scaling Rails - major scalability practices and principles. Optimizing High-Load applications, cutting-edge technologies real usage examples.

Rubinius, MRI alternatives - JRuby, Rubinius, REE, production usage examples, possibilities, support and performance details.

Workshop

After all the speeches, there will be a Workshop sessions for speakers and conference participants. Registration is limited to 30 attendees. Workshop’s primary language will be English.

There’s no passive listeners in Workshops. Everyone’s involved into the action, getting the most out of it, and giving out real experience solving most interesting and non-trivial problems. All participants will united into teams, and will take part in development and mini-project Showreel.

Participation in the conference is 150 UAH and participation in the workshop is additional 325 UAH.

We are glad to provide a platform for the initiative groups that invite developers for knowledge and best practices sharing. This time we welcome the third Ruby and Rails BarcCamp on Saturday, March, the 20^th at the kitchen of Bozhenko office from 12-00 till approximately 17-00.

• we build not HTML pages, but information resources (Responders);
