First Coffee-n-Code took place
August 11th, 2009
Last Saturday, August the 8th, developers gathered for the first Coffee-n-Code meeting in Kiev.

Thanks to the initiative of Alexander Petrov, who has introduced the format of this event, 30 developers could share their experience and knowledge in a friendly atmosphere with coffee and croissants.
Ciklum was one of the sponsors for the coffee breaks and Luxoft Training Center provided premises for the venue.

The four speakers highlighted topics, which spurred interest and very dynamic polemics:
Andrey Legayev (Oberon-Media) told about outsourcing front end platforms & cross-domain problems;

Oleg Smirnov (Incom) gave tips on JQuery Performance Optimization;

Vladimir Puzanov (Hack&Dev) impressed audience with Objective-J language and technologies MacOS in web;

Andrey Savchenko (Freelance Developer) shared experience on Capistrano framework and remote application deployment.

Each speaker from now on can drink coffee from the branded Coffee-n-Code cup.

The idea to hold such event was well received by the audience; all participants are looking forward to the new Coffee-n-Code meeting which will take place next month.
